The Global Strategic Analyst position is a very dynamic role within Product Sourcing with a wide business scope, which is global in nature and not focused on one region or business line. Through development and maintenance of global automated reporting tools, this role supports the Commodity Management & Logistic Provider Management Teams. The reports are designed to help manage the mass amounts of data we’re faced with by providing; potential cost saving opportunities, presenting data in ways that help Global Commodity Management teams manage their portfolios, flagging potential discrepancies within the databases, tracking metrics for data evolution and transactions, and supporting management via ad-hoc reporting and monthly presentations displaying the progress of our global reporting initiatives.
Bachelor’s degree in one of the following; Business Administration/Commerce, Economics, Supply Chain/Operations
Excellent MS Excel, MS Access and MS PowerPoint skills are mandatory
Knowledge of SAP Business Objects
Knowledge of Visual Basic and SQL an asset
Excellent communication skills
Ability to prioritize and multi-task workload, work under the pressure of tight time constraints
Analytical skills and detail orientated personality

Coordinate the publication and distribution of the consolidated monthly GPMA Global Reporting package for management. Global reports include; Non-Contract, APN-MPN Price Delta, Lead-Time Trend, SDA and GPMA Transactions, Open PO, GPMA Snapshots
Compile a monthly global forecast to be used for in-year global reporting
Support Global Strategic Data Management team by developing new reports in BOXI and maintaining existing reports as changes are made in GPMA (ex: new fields added, changes in price scopes and system sources, changes in architecture)
Create, support and maintain macros to address several reporting needs; Annual Negotiation Tracking, Rapid Response Component Forecast, Lead-Time Change Reporting
Perform ad-hoc reporting to support Management’s various analysis requests
Maintain several SharePoint sites, ensuring data is relevant and correct – this includes the use of SAP Dashboards.
Support ESCALATE tool by running and creating reports, as needed
Quarterly KPI reporting for Product Sourcing reporting package
